For pregnant members in fully-insured SHIP and all other applicable plans, Wellfleet covers the following:
- Prenatal visits
- Medically necessary diagnostic tests
- Prenatal education
- Medically necessary prenatal homemaker services
- Hospital length of stay to be determined by the attending health care provider based on clinical information (minimum 2 days for a vaginal delivery, 4 days for a cesarean section)
- Postpartum care
- Medically necessary postpartum homemaker services
- Contraceptive counseling and referrals
