Dr. Carlo Ciotoli joins Wellfleet as Senior Vice President of Population Health and Chief Medical Officer

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 11, 2024) – Wellfleet is proud to announce that Carlo Ciotoli, MD, MPA, has been appointed as its Senior Vice President of Population Health and Chief Medical Officer for its Student Health division.

In this pivotal new executive role, Dr. Ciotoli will shape Wellfleet’s strategy to advance population health, well-being, clinical benefits, and efforts toward improvement and innovation.

Dr. Ciotoli brings extensive experience in college health, most recently serving as Vice President for Campus Health at New York University, where he demonstrated an impressive track record of leadership, innovation, and the re-engineering of systems and services. His accomplishments have been recognized with numerous national awards.

Beyond his work at NYU, Dr. Ciotoli has made significant contributions to the field of college health by serving as Principal Investigator of several federal and foundation grants. He has also led groundbreaking national improvement collaboratives, engaging more than 100 higher education institutions and achieving measurable improvements across a range of indicators.
