Wellfleet announces the hiring of Brian Judy as EVP, Student Health

Brian Judy Joins Wellfleet – Emboldening a consultative approach 
Former Risk Strategies and USI leader brings more than 15 years of student health insurance experience to Berkshire Hathaway carrier. 

SPRINGFIELD, MASS. (January 25, 2023) – Wellfleet is pleased to announce Brian Judy has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Student Health. 

Brian brings more than 15 years of experience in the College and Student health industry and most recently was Regional Vice President of Business Development at Academic Health Plans and Risk Strategies.  

In his new role, Brian will oversee and direct Wellfleet’s student health insurance products and be at the forefront of the organization’s approach to combating traditional competition from significantly larger commercial health plans and an ever-changing and complex regulatory environment.

Prior to Wellfleet, Brian held leadership roles with AHP, Risk Strategies, and USI Insurance Services. In these roles, Brian was responsible for driving growth, as well as managing client relations and sales teams, championing technology systems development and implementation, and collaborating with product and underwriting to deliver for the needs of his clients.
