Doulas can be vital in empowering and educating expecting members throughout their childbirth journey. Doulas are trained nonclinical professionals who provide emotional, educational, and practical support during pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum period to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.

Doula services through Wildflower Health are available to Wellfleet Student members with plans in California, Rhode Island, Virginia, and Louisiana. Refer to the Maternity Benefit within your plan documents to determine your cost-sharing.

Expectant mothers can find a doula using the dedicated website here.

Once on the site, simply enter your Wellfleet Student ID card information and select a doula based on their background. Once matched, you can create a care plan together.
