Campus Health 360, one year later: A look back and ahead

Campus Health 360 (CH360) entered 2026 with a clear ambition: to move beyond isolated initiatives and begin building a cohesive, systems-based approach to improving student health and well-being across higher education. At the close of its first year, that vision is beginning to take shape, not as a single program, but as an interconnected ecosystem of ideas, tools, and collaborations that reinforce one another.

In year one, CH360 focused on laying the foundation. Rather than launching fully scaled programs immediately, the strategy emphasized thoughtful design, targeted engagement, and the cultivation of both internal alignment and external credibility. This approach is already yielding momentum across several domains.

Building healthier communities, one step at a time

One of the most visible efforts has been the development of a three-part data webinar series , launched in March 2026. The series addresses a persistent challenge in higher education: how to translate fragmented data sources into coordinated, system-level action. By focusing on access, financial and operational strategy, and the use of campus-wide survey data, the series will help support data-informed decision-making in student health. Just as importantly, it was a mechanism for Campus Health 360 to serve as a convener of expertise, bringing together leaders from institutions such as Cornell University, University of California, Santa Cruz, Rochester Institute of Technology, and New York University.

At the same time, CH360 has begun building the infrastructure for sustained engagement and innovation. Equally important are the initiatives designed to expand awareness, educate, and express thought leadership. The newsletter campaign, social media strategy, and future webinar series all serve to extend the reach of CH360 beyond individual client engagements. These efforts are not simply about visibility; they are about shaping the broader conversation in college health, particularly around systems thinking, quality improvement, and population health.

What’s next?

As CH360 moves into its second year, participation in the American College Health Association (ACHA) Annual Meeting represents a critical opportunity to accelerate this trajectory. The ACHA meeting is more than a conference, it is a gathering of the very community CH360 seeks to engage: clinicians, health promotion professionals, administrators, researchers, and thought leaders committed to advancing student health and well-being.

Several elements of the ACHA meeting align directly with CH360’s evolving priorities. The conference’s emphasis on collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange mirrors CH360’s commitment to breaking down silos across campus health systems. This creates a natural environment to both share early learnings from CH360 initiatives and gather feedback that can refine future efforts.

In many ways, the ACHA Annual Meeting serves as both a milestone and a catalyst. It marks the transition of CH360 from foundational development to broader engagement, while also providing the inputs needed to ensure that its next phase is responsive, relevant, and impactful.

After year one, Campus Health 360 is no longer just a concept — it is a growing platform with the potential to influence how higher education approaches student health. The work ahead will focus on scaling what has been built, deepening collaboration, and continuing to bridge the gap between insight and action.
